When people talk about housing affordability, they’re usually thinking about the high cost of buying a home. Less often mentioned are the high costs faced by the millions of Canadians who rent their homes. A new report by the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives looks at the affordability crisis faced by renters across Canada. We speak with senior economist Marc Lee of the BC office of the CCPA.
